This is an insurance discount based on the number of years that you have not had any claims.

Making a claim
When you make a claim your discount will probably be reduced, usually by two steps. Fortunately your discount may not be affected for several reasons:

• your insurers make a full recovery of costs from another party.
• they are only prevented from doing so by a knock-for-knock agreement.
• you recover all your uninsured losses (such as accidental damage excess).
